As of JULY 2026, we do have a variety of puppies available to choose from. Click on our “Available Puppies” page to see pictures. Please CALL or TEXT me directly for more information and pricing at (206) 478-2858, as I do not always receive notifications when people send me messages via the pop up box that ask if you have a question, so please keep in mind responses could be delayed.
My name is Amanda K. Thompson and I have been breeding Longhair Dachshunds since 2006. My breeding program has grown since I started, and now is a family endeavor that includes my mom (Shelley) and brother (Jeff). My dogs and puppies are the only kids I have, so I take a lot of pride in raising such beautiful dogs with great temperaments and disposition.
Health and wellness is very important, so our dogs and puppies only eat the best of food called “Life’s Abundance”. It is a bit expensive but is excellent food, and especially good for dogs with skin issues. A breeder friend told me about how great Life’s Abundance was and sent me a quick video clip to watch, which is what actually made me want to try it. I was immediately SOLD on it after it cleared up all the dogs having flaky skin within a single month. It proved itself a 2nd time with my cousin’s dog who was also having skin problems. I wasn’t sure it would work for her since her dog had a skin issue that was different than ours, as her dog had small sores all over her tummy. I recommended Life’s Abundance and sure enough, it resolved her dog’s skin issue within a month as well. A dog doesn’t even need to have skin issues to know it’s worth every penny.
*** PUPPY SCAM WARNING ***
Puppy scammers are everywhere, not only on Facebook, but some also appear to have what “seem” to be legit websites, some with purchase contracts that make them look that much more legit. Be sure you have a phone conversation with the breeder during your puppy search journey before sending them any money, as “most” puppy scammers will not talk on the phone. I know dozens and dozens of buyers who have been scammed. Be diligent, and if the breeder is too pushy, there is a good chance it is a scammer.
